Scepter Publishers
Scepter is a publisher of Catholic books, pamphlets and videos. They distribute globally and serve both trade customers and individuals. They approached us in 2008 to provide them with a solution that would synchronise the online stock control and invoicing system built into their website with their offline system software made by iPub.
In order to efficiently manage the data between the online and offline systems we worked closely with iPub, an established software company based in Arizona. Using web technologies, we developed a system that would schedule the transfer of files between the respective online and offline databases with a notification system to contact the Scepter staff when data transfer had been completed. We also developed Scepter Publishers' existing admin area further and incorporated the ability to import and export data files manually without data collision.
The project was completed in late 2008 and is successfully being used today. We have a great working relationship with Scepter and have continued to work with them on a number of small number of web based projects.
